Selamawit Zewdu Yetemegn is an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Environmental Security

In 2009 and 2010 she served as Assistant Researcher in the IES Environmental Security Assessment case studies on the Horn of Africa and the Mekong River Basin.

Selamawit holds a M.Sc in Environmental Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) and Greenwich University (UK). She holds a B.Sc in Chemistry from Jimma University Ambo College (Ethiopia).

Selamawit is currently based in The Netherlands. Her areas of expertise include environmental management and policy issues.
